Hello Kitty X MIMOBOT designer USB flash drives On 13th August2009

8421-550x-hk_apple_03_550x414

Sanrio recently announced that they’ll be teaming up with Mimobot to produce a line of designer flash drives featuring the various Sanrio characters starting with Hello Kitty. The line will expand from there to include Badtz-Maru, My Melody, Kuromi, Keroppi, Chococat, and TuxedoSam. There will be options regarding storage capacity ranging from 2gb to 16gb. Each drive will include a mimoDESK personalization suite featuring SANRIO-themed wallpapers, screensavers, icons, videos, and more things that’ll likely take up a good chunk of the drives out of the box. While I’m not sure how much I’d want the stuff it comes with, I adore the design, and I hope the rest of these characters come out as cute as the Hello Kitty model did. You’ll be able to pick these up online at Sanrio or Mimobot, though you’ll also probably find them at Sanrio stores and other specialty retailers.

Hello Kitty, Mario and Luigi papercraft On 14th July2009

8025-550x-hellomarioluigi_header

Mario and Luigi are perhaps the most popular and well known game characters of all time. Sanrio’s Hello Kitty generates over a billion dollars in revenue alone, each year. It was really only a matter of time before the two franchises crossed paths. Designed by PMF, with templates from Paperbuff, these cute cats come with the option to remove the hats and mustaches, should you wish to do so. You could also place the bows directly on the head, but obviously putting the hat on after that would be problematical. If you’re interested in making them yourself, you can download the templates at Nintendo Papercraft.
