Teased around for months has been the unveiling of a new chogokin line of figures. The new line was formally announced today as Super Robot Chogokin. The figures will resemble Bandai’s popular of Soul of Chogokin line, but will be around 6 inches in height and feature PVC and ABS plastics alongside die-cast metal. This line-up holds a ton of promise and looks to remain in a decent price range. More details coming.

English designer Paul Smith re-unites with Burton once again in a release of a snowboard slated for the 2011 season. Based on the Vapor model, Paul Smith’s touches come in the form of his signature multi-colored pattern seen on the base and top. The snowboard collaboration comes on the heels of three previous collaborations starting in 2005 which has revolved around on-hill apparel. The Paul Smith x Burton Vapor Snowboard will retail for $1,199.95 USD.

Mastermind Japan and Adidas have teamed up to bring a highly polished hightop into the mix. The basketball inspired ‘Hardland’ model is a perfect canvas for MMJ’s use of clean black leather uppers with contrasting outsole and skeleton logos. Not everything is black and white with this shoe though – if you look a little closer you’ll see some more subtle design choices like intricately arranged laces, looped eyelets, and of course, a bright red sole. This pair and more will see the light of day June 16th at ISETAN Shinjuku in Tokyo.
