COMME des GARCONS and Nike prepare for a new collaboration on the Dunk High. The visual integrity of the Dunk High transform the traditional basketball silhouette of the Dunk into boot-like style. The dramatic rise of the toebox and the black leather upper with a large zipper up the center is an appropriate approach for the Japanese brand who has been the subject of much fanfare for their avant grade and innovative styles. The back of the Dunk does offer a glimpse of its former self with the recognizable heel lines and center seam. No word on availability yet.
