Mastermind Japan recently opened their first flagship outside of Japan, in the casino town of Macau. The opening event was attended by Hong Kong celebrities and designer Masaaki Homma. The day of the opening also marked the release of a limited edition MMJ Macau tee which attracted an army of skull and crossbone-wearing fans. Macau’s recent economic developments have turned it into the Las Vegas of China and Asia’s favourite place for spending disposable income, so it is no surprise to see Masaaki Homma select Macau as the city for their first flagship even in with the current economic situation.

This Blazer will uses contrasting shades of blue denim on the upper with some subtle red and orange highlights and stitching. Like the Terminator, this shoe sticks to the jeans theme with a copper rivet on the heel and the Levi’s-inspired Nike tag. While the two styles use similar materials, a black midsole and swoosh gives the Blazer a darker overall look than its predecessor. Look for both selvage denim Nike models at select retailers sometime this fall.

You may remember the collaboration between A Bathing Ape and the cartoon show Spongebob Squarepants last year that resulted in a dope Bapesta sneaker and some tee shirts. Recently, Pharrell Williams was spotted rocking some Spongebob Bapestas that were similar to the version released last year, but with a small twist. From the looks of the shoe from the pictures available, it seems like Pharrell was able to get his pair made out of some extra-lux crocodile skin (or what looks like crocodile skin) while keeping the same color scheme and Spongebob face by the heel. No word on whether or now these will be released in any type of quantity, but as always, we will keep you posted if we got any further info.

Like the first Dead Generals series, these Dunk Lows feature selvage denim sewed onto the front and back panels accented by red/off white trim right above the sole. You’ll notice that the Swoosh is translucent on the red version of the shoe, and on the blue version the Swoosh is black with blood splatter on the bottom part. On the blue colorway, the toe-box is blue with a darker blue used in the fabric on the mid and heel area along with the blue laces. For the red colorway, all the blue areas on the other shoe are black accented by the red Swoosh. Both shoes have “ARMY” followed by crossbones printed on the fabric covering the mid-panel and the heel section.
The shoes also feature some SBTG staples such as the zip-up lace cover and the recently introduced gold lacelocks. Take a moment to look at all the pictures after the jump.
