2010 heralds the 30th Anniversary of Studio D’Artisans existence atop the denim tree. In testament to the design and production process of Studio D’Artisan, that has at its heart quality and exclusivity, they have created a very impressive pair of denim to celebrate the 30th Anniversary.

Japanese boutique Atmos gets together with Levi’s. This time they worked on the 505 and gave it the paisley treatment. The pattern is featured on the back pockets, the higher back and also around the front pockets. Furthermore they colored all buttons red and worked with pink stitching. For our taste the outcome is a little too much, we prefer our denim more classic. The collaboration will be released in October.

Samurai Magazine continues to work with some of their favorite brands on special 10th anniversary product. In their latest collaboration they worked with Swagger on denim and a t-shirt. The tribal pattern that is featured on the denim pockets is repeated on the inside of the t-shirt, which otherwise features an over-sized Swagger logo print on the front. Both pieces are now available from the Samurai magazine online store.

Japanese label slash retailer Atmos got together with the original American denim brand to tweak the design elements on a pair of straight leg Levi’s 504s. The denim comes with a red “madras check” material on both the front and back pockets, as well as on a dropped back yoke. Other details include an oversized patch, pink and purple stitching and a white button fly. This rigid denim is due out in early December, but will be available for pre-order July 1st at Atmos.

Take a good look at The Extra Leg we got here!!! We are not cracking dirty jokes, nor those made for people with missing limbs. It actually is an interesting new product from Paris. Basically it is a piece of denim, made to strap over your denim when riding the bike. Forget about having to roll up your jeans anymore, in order not to ruin them with the bicycle chain. The Extra Leg is available in raw denim, black denim and in white denim. The denim is produced by none other than A.P.C.

Here is the preview of the upcoming Silver Series line from Levi’s. The debut model features Kazuki Kuraishi alongside CLOT in a special pair of 505s. The denim takes on silver characteristics while the weft of the leg opening features CLOT Royale silk. A tentative release date is set for April 10th at JUICE.

Vans has just announced their 2009/10 collaborate with denim brand 7 For All Mankind, adding to the number of brands doing high end denim riding wear that includes Burton and 686. The Vans x 7 For All Mankind pant is based on the silhouette of the Bootcut in New York Dark, and features Vans’ Vansguard waterproof, breathable coating.

Conceived in 2005, SFIDA set out to become a producer of high quality futsal balls. As well adding a brand philosophy that features “Football for all people”, the brand looks to unite people over the beautiful game. In a team-up with denim brand Edwin, the two create a ball comprised of multiple tones of denim including both raw and washed denim panels. Limited to 503 balls, they will be available at Edwin flagship stores and online at e-edwin.jp as well as select retailers with a suggested retail price of ¥?,??? JPY (approximately $90 USD).

Atmos once again gets together with Levi’s. This time they worked on the LX503 “X-Mas Special” denim. The denom comes with plaid on the front and back pockets, red rivets and buttons, purple stitching and also some pink accents. Some pretty wild mix, but it looks better than it actually sounds.
