For Spring Summer 2010, Hiruma has married his style with Converse and together they have created a collection of deeply desirable trainers. Re-designing and hand stitching a few of the true Converse classics – such as Chuck Taylor, Jack Purcell and the One Star – Sak has given each shoe leather soles that resembles that of a luxurious dress shoe, and ink printed logos that gives them a playful feeling. Each shoe comes in natural shades of tan, off-white and black leather with hand cut logos. No exact price on these beauties yet, but it is said to be in the $600-$800 USD range.

Following a good response for its 100% version, Medicom Toy creates a 400% bearbrick design in collaboration with renowned American fashion designer Anna Sui. The bearbrick, featuring a black base with intricate detailing, is set to release next month, carrying a price tag of ¥8,190 (Approx. $91 USD).

Long-serving women’s streetwear brand X-Girl has had their fair share of footwear collaborations in the past. This season they come together with atmos and New Balance on the 850. A model originally released in 1991 and characterized by its cushioning properties, the X-Girl version features a distinct pink upper in suede, meshtoe box and printed liner. The X-Girl x New Balance 850 will release on April 24th at atmos.

Sideshow Collectibles just announced their next Street Fighter Mixed Media Statue, this time in the form of US Air Force fighter, Guile. Running his comb through his gravity-defying and non-regulation hair, the statue is made with Polystone and fabric for the clothes, and what appears to be a separate metal dog tag.
This statue stands at 18 inches tall, hair not included in those measurements, and should sell for around $250 and will be available with a Flex-Pay option.

Polaroid is well and truly back! The Impossible Project announced their mission last year to revive the Polaroid factory and put the forgotten film back into production and since then demand for the original cameras and film has gone stratospheric. So if you are one of those people fed up paying a small fortune for out of date film that never exposes from eBay then you will be delighted to hear that Impossible are about to launch their first batch of new film this week.
The PX 100 and PX 600 Silver Shade, monochrome instant film for Polaroid SX 70 cameras will be available from the Impossible Project website this Thursday (March 25). Each film will include 8 shots and will retail for $18 (£16).

An obvious favorite amongst Japanese labels, Mickey Mouse makes an appearance on a selection of new tees from rehacer, which celebrates its 7th Anniversary. The tees are offered in two styles, complimented by a raglan as well. All three designs highlight the lovable mouse in his favorite Native American style outfits. A release is scheduled for May 2010, although a pre-order is now set in place through Anout Commune.

Dark Horse Deluxe has announced a special exclusive Hawaii Chrome Domo Qee variant – from Toy2R – for the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2). The show will run from April 16–18, 2010. The convention exclusive features Domo covered with a Hawaiian-style print. Only 1,200 pieces of this special variant will be made available to collectors at the Dark Horse Comics booth.
