Aoshima’s Captain Tsubasa figures On 31st August2009

Anime fans should recognize the face above as belonging to one Ozora Tsubasa, the main character of the long-running Japanese series Captain Tsubasa. The version you see above is the “fierce fighting” version of the figure: there’s also a normal version of Tsubasa in the exact same pose, but it’s not nearly as cool, because the “fierce fighting” version’s touches make it look like Tsubasa’s been to hell and back on the field. If you’d like to get your hands on one of these figures, they’re dropping next month at 4,800 yen (about US$50). Due to the release date closing in, sites are starting to close their pre-orders, but both Hobby Link Japan and Toys Logic still have pre-orders open.

It depicts a lovely lady in Nike SB Blazer ‘Fly Milks’ from two years back and a milk jug with missing person graphics. Expect this one soon at FLY locations.

It’s True clothing’s first New Era that they’ve done on their own which doesn’t focus directly on the True logo, instead it’s a 3D raised embroidery of a cursive based hand-style. This cap is going to drop as an online exclusive. It’ll hit true clothing this friday night at midnight. There are also 2 colors of mens, and 2 colors of womens tees with the original artwork.

Lacoste x Sneakersnstuff x Jonas Wiehager On 28th August2009

Lacoste got together with Sneakersnstuff and local Stockholm streetculture legend Jonas Wiehager to collaborate on a double pack of the Rene Lacoste low top sneaker. The Superdrop sneaker was designed by Jonas Wiehager, who made a name in the scene for himself with his store Boutique Sportif and later on with his own art and clothing line. He was inspired by paint drops from a paint brush. The sneaker comes in a black/grey colorway and features his signature on the heel.
The multicolor square colorway is designed by the SneakersnStuff team and continues to celebrate their 10th anniversary this year. Both sneakers are limited to 124 pairs and will be released on September 25th at Sneakersnstuff in Stockholm.
