Try God Key Cover For Black Flag On 25th June2009

try-god-key-cover-for-black-flag

Try God is a name strongly associated to Neighborhood, Hysteric Glamour and Blackflag amongst others having created with great distinction. Shinsuke Takizawa has shed some light on a Key Cover for Black flag, a delicate sculptures created by using a zinc alloy metal. This piece is hugely impressive and the intricate design is enhanced by the interpretation of the skull motif, one that I am sure not many can execute without this amount of distinction.

Kobe Tetsujin Project: 1/1 Scale Tetsujin 28-go On 25th June2009

3658519612_5bbf7339fe_o

First there was 1/1-scaled GUNDAM Statue in Odaiba, Tokyo – now Kobe’s Wakamatsu Park will have their very own giant robot = a 18 meters tall, 50 ton TETSUJIN 28-go! Don’t worry it is not Japan’s evil plan to take over the world with these giant robot, as the Tetsujin 28-go statue will be a permanent installation with no moving parts unlike the Gundam we saw earlier. The Kobe Tetsujin Project’s statue is intended as a symbol of the city’s revival after the 1995 Kobe Earthquake. It is being build in Nagata Ward, the city’s hardest hit neighborhood which has since been rebuilt and revitalized. The statue also celebrates the life of one of Kobe’s most well-known native sons, as Yokoyama not only created the Tetsujin 28 manga and anime, but also Giant Robo and Sally the Witch.
