This Blazer High (style# 316664-011) features a variety of materials, such as the Dark Grey suede upper with sections of smooth leather on the eyelet panels and the toe box, as well as a grey mesh tongue. The tongue label sports a red Brooklyn tag that really stands out and the broken line effect that is spreading outward from the Swoosh and midsole could very well be meant to symbolize Jackie’s breaking of the color lines. Additional accents come by way of the white midsole, laces and lining, giving this shoe a clean look with a bit of a wild edge.

Santa Inoue’s Santasistc! is the focus of an upcoming with Monchhichi. Largely unknown outside of Asia, the Monchhichi franchise has been wildly popular as collectibles, achieving great success thanks to a number of difference releases and styles over the years that often mimic real-life counterparts. The Santastic! version includes some clear references to Santa’s clothing label and Tokyo Tribe3’s Minato. Available starting May 2nd. Check Santa.co.jp for more info.

Vans and Solebox, have come together to create a very special collaboration sneaker. We showed you a sneak peek of these last month and now we have a detailed look at this creative endeavor. The Old Skool was chosen to be the subject of this project because of its legendary, yet underrated status. The shoe features a funky black and white plaid fabric on the upper with a white midsole and red accents. A dove graphic was chosen for the tongue logo as a universal symbol of peace and a Solebox logo appears on the insole. This Old Skool has been upgraded from the classic version with a Vans Vault footbed for improved comfort. Unfortunately, they will be limited to only 60 pairs when they drop in May.

Bedwin came up with an interesting piece, Bandana Tie. The piece can just as easily serve as a casual pocket square with a bit of work or as its intended use as a neck-tie. Nike introduce another performance innovation with the LunarGlide+. Aside from combining the most recent in Nike’s technical innovations such as Lunarfoam and Flywire technology, the shoe’s defining point is its Dynamic Support. While the Lunarfoam and Flywire technologies are well-documented, the Dynamic Support allows for instantaneous gait-control, “a patent-pending system that adapts to a runner’s gait with each step, providing superior cushioning and as-needed stability.” This effectively breaks the traditional conventions of buying a shoe for a particular gait.

The quadruple collaboration between Stussy, Undefeated and realmad HECTIC on the New Balance MT580 Full Metallic Jacket collection is about to be released.  Set for a Wednesday, April 29th release, the three shiny runners are now available for pre-order from Deep Inside Inc. There is no words on whether they are going to be released in US, will keep you posted once we got more info.
