The Vans Caution Pack consists of iconic models the Era, Chukka & Sk8-Hi. Each is done in black: a mixture of leather and suede. Yellow striped accents in the familiar “CAUTION” pattern give this pack its name.

Producing their own basketball this time around, the New York-based sneaker connoisseurs create a new rock featuring an all-over cement print with their FCNY text. Originally released back in November, the Leaders x Reebok Reverse Jam was based on Chicago’s very own Chicago Transit Authority subway set-up. With a number of different lines run by the company such as the red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, brown, and pink lines, all the colors can be seen incorporated into the midsole speckles. The previous aforementioned November release featured a blue Reebok logo while this upcoming release features a red logo, the reasoning is that both the red and blue CTA lines run close to Leaders1354’s two locations while the blue sole with CTA map visible is a tribute to Lake Michigan. All in all, a well-thought out piece from the crew at Leaders1354. The Red Lines “Leaders1354 Jam” will release at the new Leaders1354 store in downtown Chicago on Saturday, January 24th.

Marc Jacobs and the Louis Vuitton men’s studio director Paul Helbers have some design competition this season. Kanye West, who was sitting front row at the Vuitton show, has designed a line of five LV sneakers. Only one design, above, was featured in the show — a monochromatic midtop with no frills, save for a quilted flap in the back, all the easier to tuck pants into. “The inspiration came from a jacket with a huge collar in the movie ‘Dune,’ ” West says. “Most sneakers focus on the tongue, so I wanted to do something different.” West knows whereof he speaks: he says he has no idea how many shoes he owns, but he does know that he routinely needs to send shipments off to storage. The LV-meets-Kanye kicks will be available at Louis Vuitton stores in June.
