It is impressive that even though the Nike Dunk has been around for over two decades, the folks over in Beaverton continue to come up with designs that keeps the classic shoe in the focus of all sneaker heads. Part of the Nike Dunks staying power comes from releases like this Nike Dunk High in a brown/camouflage colorway. The upper of the shoe features camouflage print on the mid-panel and around the ankle/heel while the rest of the shoe is styled with premium brown leather and a white swoosh. These Dunk Highs are a different step from what we’ve seen in Nike Dunks lately and are definitely a cool look, but are rumored to be a Europe exclusive release.

Mita Sneakers x Puma Clyde – Made in Japan On 31st December2008
Just yesterday, we mentioned we haven’t seen too many major collaborations from Puma recently but looks like Puma is back in the game for 2009. For this project, Japan based Mita Sneakers is using the “Made in Japan” Clyde which is slightly different than the molds used in the used in the rest of the world. With out being too obvious with the red and white rising sun graphic, Mita has decided on a black and blue rising sun image instead on the upper. Mita is set to release this Puma Mita Clyde this coming January 2nd, 2009.
Nike Dunk Low – Black – Pink – Safari Print On 30th December2008
Nike’s ongoing Spring 2009 Collection of Safari print inspired Dunk’s continues to be released at select Nike Sportswear retailers, the newest release, a Dunk Low in Black and Pink featuring a Hippo graphic on the insole, has just been released at Size? in the UK. This pair features a subtle tonal Black on Black Safari print on the upper mixed with a Pink Swoosh and White laces to give the shoes some pop to them.

Kyle Robinson’s custom Kaneda figure On 30th December2008
Check out this fully-functional version of Kaneda’s motorcycle from the amazing film and manga Akira by custom figure phenom Kyle Robinson. Kyle made this custom Kaneda and bike as a commission for a very lucky UK collector. The figure is definitely the Frankenstein of toys, as he has been lovingly created with the pieces of several other figures and some apoxie sculpt.

This year in addition to the WMNS Air Force 1 High Nike is releasing for Valentine’s Day, the folks over at Nike have just released this Nike WMNS Air Force 2 High to celebrate the holiday. This WMNS AF2 High features s skull graphic on parts of the upper and comes in a White, Gold, and Red Valentine colorway.
Undercover x RATS Viper Studs Bangle and Belt On 30th December2008
