
Japanese artist Taka Hayashi did not only work on his own collaborative pack with Vans, but this time got together with Vans and Active for their “Drop Sneakers Not Bombs” initiative. Releasing in November is a pack of two sneakers designed by the artist. Once again lots of customization has been added to the sneaker, without playing too much with color, rather with patterns and materials.

For all you Air Jordan Six Rings fans, you will have a lot to be happy about over the next couple months. Sole-Locker has got a hold of a new Six Rings colorway consisting of black, varsity red with some green and purple thrown in there. The upper also feature a lot of what seems to be lasered illustrations all around the tongue and heel. The images seen appear to be commemerative of Michael Jordan’s 6 Championship rings to go along with the shoe that have the same purpose. They also appear to have a pretty icy sole. These Six Rings aren’t slated for relase until January of 2009, but if you can’t wait you can always go to Sole-Locker and cop a pair early. Numerous images from Nike’s 2009 have been seen months before their scheduled release, but more have surfaced including the upcoming Air Classic BW. The Air Classic BW doesn’t get as much as attention as it deserves. This simple silhouette will be getting a combination of white, pink and black and to top it all of is mesh opposed to leather. Nike has already proven that 2009 will be a solid year, but this gives us even more to look forward. Release is scheduled for Spring 2009.

Today we’ve learned that the Busy P Air Force 1 is coming to Nike Sportswear stores in New York and LA. The Busy P Air Force 1 uses an array of colors through out the sneakers which reminds us a bit of the Playstation Air Force 1’s. With a good amount of writing all over the shoe, this shoe is sure to have a hidden meaning to a number of degrees. In New York, release will be on October 30th at 4pm and in LA release will be on October 31st at 5pm.

Reebok’s most recent venture into stylized footwear has been their new Artist Collection. For their latest project in the Artist Collection, Reebok collaborated with artist KANAE to create some fresh versions of their classic Omni Pump sneaker. The shoe features materials not usually found on Omni Pumps, such as striped, canvas-like uppers, shearing-like interiors and faux-fur lining just in time for the cold weather. This Omni Pump will be available in three different colorways and can now be picked up at FLAUGE. You won’t want to sleep too long on these, as they are limited to 350 pairs per color.
