Jerry Hsu has just recently released his first signature shoe with Emerica, and now he has brought together Emerica and enjoi Skateboards to create a special version of the Hsu Pro Model.  The finished product is a black, nubuck mid top on a clean white midsole, with the ankle and insoles featuring enjoi’s signature panda print.  Perforations on the toe and on the side panels provide for some breatheability, while a super-tacky gumsole gives great traction.  The sneaker is available now at many stores and online sites, which are listed at Emerica’s online site.

Receiving iconic status as pioneers of the early Chinese Hip-Hop movement, Softhard aka DJ Soft “Jan Lam” and MC H “Eric Kot” will team up with fellow Hong Kong singer and music producer Juno Mak on a set of vinyl figures. The pieces will be done by none other than vinyl master Michael Lau, a pioneer in his own right. Details are dim regarding a release of the figures although we know they will be produced by SiLLY THING toys and with this recent pic, we get a glimpse of the packaging for this highly anticipated set. Stay tuned for further details as they unfold within the coming weeks.

Celebrating the launch of the Craig Stecyk/Lance Mountain Nike SB Blazer, Flip Skateboards re-worked the iconic Stecyk designed Lance Mountain board into a new edition featuring a custom old school shape with moderate concave alongside custom made rollo shaped Flip wheels and Independent 139 trucks. Limited to only 500 completes, each one will be personally signed and numbered by Lance Mountain himself. The setup’s are available at the Flip online store with a retail set at $150 USD, which is certainly quite a deal for a shred stick nowadays.

TOM SACHS brought his troupe of crying HELLO KITTY sculptures first exhibited at Lever House in Manhattan last month to the Paris to be displayed at the base of the fashion capital’s most iconic sight, the Eiffel Tower. Exhibited in conjunction with his show of new works at GALERIE THADDAEUS ROPAC that debuted in the City of Lights on October 23rd until November 2nd. COMME des GARCONS and Nike prepare for a new collaboration on the Dunk High. The visual integrity of the Dunk High transform the traditional basketball silhouette of the Dunk into boot-like style. The dramatic rise of the toebox and the black leather upper with a large zipper up the center is an appropriate approach for the Japanese brand who has been the subject of much fanfare for their avant grade and innovative styles. The back of the Dunk does offer a glimpse of its former self with the recognizable heel lines and center seam. No word on availability yet.

Converse has just released a new pack of All-Stars just for the ladies, this Chuck Taylor “Strass” Pack has hit select Converse retailers such as colette and comes in three colors including Royal Blue, Magenta Pink, and Black. All three feature an upper covered entirely of the sequins in one color matched with either White or Black shoelaces and a classic White outsole. One of the more interesting Chuck Taylor shoes we’ve seen as of late but definitely a creative pack put together by Converse.
