The Nike Air Classic BW is definitely a classic in just about ever sense of the word. With a streamlined design, good colorways, and of course the Nike brand of quality assurance behind it, they’re some of the nicest kicks out there.  This particular pair of Air Classic BW’s comes adorned in large gauge mesh, giving it a very unique look that a lot of mesh fans will definitely appreciate.  While maybe not the most impactful of all kicks, it’s the details that matter most, and with the sick material choices, slick outline, and general clean looks of these shoes, they should prove to be a hit among those that like their sneakers as clean as possible. Nike’s Air Classic BW features a synthetic upper, large-volume heel Air-Sole and a durable carbon rubber outsole.

Not much to say except that this is another HUGE remix by Soulwax / 2 Many DJs. It updates the original without stomping it into oblivion and is one of the most exciting things I’ve heard from Soulwax since their Gossip remix.

Summer 2008 Olympic is finally over and Nike have put out this amazing “Air Force 1 IO Supreme Closing Ceremonies” in gold and laser print. Definitely some of the most visually striking shoes to be inspired by the Beijing Olympics. Primarily metallic gold with Chinese-inspired patterning covering large portions of the shoe. With solid use of black to break up the gold, these Air Force 1’s are definitely going to be hot collectors’ items, and one of the more enduring sneakers inspired by this year’s Olympics. The entire upper and insideout mid-sole features in metallic gold and Chinese motif, implying the dream of gold. These shoes come in a nice wooden box, with 08-08-08 inscribed on the top, commemorating the start date of the Beijing Olympics on August 8th, 2008. As we all know, riding bike is a better choice of transportation than driving a car when it comes to environmental impact and cost (especially with today’s gas price). Industrial designer, Matt Clark, bring that very idea further by creating this Innervision 1, which its entire frame is made of recycled plastic. People may think it is not going to be durable as it is made of plastic, but thanks to its two component frame, plastic outer structure and space-frame-like inner frame utilized reinforced polypropylene triangulation and molded beams structure for increasing strength, it is rigid and strong just like a regular aluminum frame. And did I mention this frame is fully recyclable since it made of reinforced and un-reinforced recyclable polypropylene to reduce is environmental impact and costs. I am sure this eco-friendly bike would be very appealing for people who ride for environmental reasons.
