Here is the final product of Vans Half Cab & Chukka x Carhartt. the Half-Cabs and Chukkas lose the reddish pipping along the sole restricting the bright color only to the bottom of the sole. Each pair comes with a bag with Carhartt brown color. The shoes will be release on September 3rd at Carhartt flagship stores around Europe in the following cities, Barcelona, London, Lyon, Toulouse, Madrid, Lisbon, Berlin, Cologne, Milan, Rome, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Paris, Copenhagen and Zurich. No word on US release yet.
The new Neighborhood Fall/Winter 2008 “Ex. Dirty Harry” collection is getting to stores around the globe. As usual the brand has also worked with fellow Japanese brand Porter on a series of bags.
This season comes the Blockhead backpack. It comes in black nylon and features details in white/black cotton. It’s a very clean looking technical backpack. They also worked on the Shell Solid messenger bag. It features a quilted upper and comes in all black, otherwise staying very neutral.
Both bags will be available at The Darkside Initiative in San Francisco along with a lot more of the Neighborhood Fall/Winter 2008 collection, as of this coming Saturday, August 30th.
‘This One’s for the Children of Sichuan’ – a charity auction organized by MINDstyle to benefit kids victimized by May’s devastating earthquake is now online at liveauctioneers.com. Proceeds will benefit Care for Children’s efforts to assist the children of Sichuan. The auctions go live and end at 3 minute intervals this Sunday (8.31) starting @ 6 PM PDT.
